Lunchtime Organisation

Lunchtimes at Astmoor are  fun and enjoyable experiences, where the children get to mix with pupils from all age ranges. The Children are organised into five lunchtime groups: Tower, Canal, Castle, Priory and Bridge. Each group is assigned a Midday Assistant who leads the children in a variety of activitie such as: Arts and Crafts, Games and Outdoor Play. In addition to the Midday Assistants, there are always several other members of staff on lunchtime duty, including senior leaders.

Please find a copy of the lunchtime group arrangements below. if you want to know which lunchtime group your child attends, then please ask their Class Teacher. 

In addition to these arrangements for the majority of children, we make alternative provision for children who find the demands of lunchtime overwhelming. These plans vary from child to child.
